Staffordshire Bull Terrier Puppies – Physical Traits

Puppies need to be wormed at two to three weeks of age and no later than that is recommended. There are easy to administer, liquid forms of wormer that are simple to give at an early age. The Staffordshire bull terrier puppies will need to be wormed probably at least twice more before you send them to their new homes when they reach the age of about eight weeks. Always weigh your puppies and follow the instructions exactly.

These dogs are known to have a lot of strength for their small size. Staffordshire Bull Terrier Puppies are stocky, well built, and muscular. Their size and bulk does not prevent them from being active and agile. The Staffordshire bull terrier puppies need plenty of regular, daily exercise that should consist of lots playtime and daily walks on a leash. He should be kept on a leash in public places. Keep a close eye on him for any time of over excitement of stressful feelings. Puppies can be over stimulated just a toddler or young child can have too much excitement at one time.

Staffordshire bull terrier puppies like to show affection and love by jumping up, pawing and nuzzling and general shows of affection. Even when trained they can be frisky and a tad over rowdy. This is why it is important to keep the Staffordshire bull terrier puppies on a leash when out in public or around others.
